Recently I wasn't up to much...
Nothing really fanciful to blog about...
Except I had been to our 2 most anticipated IRs!!
Yet the saddest thing was , the places are not totally completed thus I kinda refused to take
pictures of them.. *lazy me*
Arghhhh if life has become too mono for me to blog, then I shall post my favourite at-the-
moment song lyrics... Coz I do think they are so meaningful! (and more ra-ra than my life!)
*WINKZ*
Just Say Yes
Snow Patrol
I'm running out of ways to make you see
I want you to stay here beside me
I won't be ok and I won't pretend I am
So just tell me today and take my hand
Please take my hand
Please take my hand
Just say yes, just say there's nothing holding you back
It's not a test, nor a trick of the mind
Only love
It's so simple and you know it is
You know it is, yeah
We can't be to and fro like this
All our lives
You're the only way to me
The path is clear
What do I have to say to you
For God's sake, dear
For God's sake, dear
For God's sake, dear
For God's sake, dear
For God's sake, dear
Just say yes, just say there's nothing holding you back
It's not a test, nor a trick of the mind
Only love
Just say yes, coz I'm aching and I know you are too
For the touch of your warm skin
As I breathe you in
I can feel your heart beat through my shirt
This was all I wanted, all I want
It's all I want
It's all I want
It's all I want
It's all I want
Just say yes, just say there's nothing holding you back
It's not a test, nor a trick of the mind
Only love
Just say yes, coz I'm aching and I know you are too
For the touch of your warm skin
As I breathe you in

Completely no (blog) entries... *shudders*
Oh well, it's like the 8th day into May thus I'm not gonna waste any time reflecting why there wasn't any updates but but I would just post my Phuket trip up...
Yeaps, yeaps I was away to Phuket! Absolutely fab, I tell you guys...
Me and Law practically din do much but juz relax... (which is what beach holidays are about anyway) Hehehehe..

DAY 1
Upon reaching our hotel, and putting away our luggage, me and Law recce'd the area.
It was hot, hot, hot! The sun was real strong. (this instantly won me over)

And then I saw a couple eating something. Being the always hungry and glutton cat I was, I wanna eat what the couple was eating too!
And you know what, that "something" totally changed my life (why?!)
Life changing pancake
It might not look scrumptious but I finally realise that Heavens might be made of bananas and nutella pancake.. And I always thought Heavens is made of fluffy (pink) cotton candy.. Hahaha..
>.<"
One is not enuff, I tell you...
Yet I couldn't stuff myself silly with too many B&N pancakes or else Law will make me go on diets now... Hehehe
We walked around the beach area and booked a day trip for the following day to Phi Phi Island. Which I understand, is a must do for those visiting Phuket for the first time.
Soon it's dinner time! I wanted to try Sea Hag which I read in some website that it's the best restaurant around Phuket.
Well, to be honest, I was a tad disappointed with the dinner. It wasn't really that fanastic which I sincerely felt the website has given Sea Hag too much hype.. *sighz*
And it wasn't cheap either, S$64 for a grilled squid, a grilled fish, some kangkang which they termed it as "morning glory" in Phuket, some fried wanton with a nice name (Sea Hag Bags)...
DAY 2
Next morning, we got up all bright and early coz we are going to Phi Phi Island! Hehehe..
Next morning, we got up all bright and early coz we are going to Phi Phi Island! Hehehe..
There was a mini van waiting for us at the hotel lobby once we finished brekkie. The trip to the pier was like, 45 minutes and Law kept nodding off to sleep.
I was entertaining myself by counting the number of motorcycles on the road (too many) but soon lost track and resorted to counting dogs (which was less than 10 plus super boring). Ultimately I had to keep poking Law in the ribs to keep him from dozing off...
Finally we reached the pier and there were alot of people there too. We were divided into 2 main groups of 30 odd and before we board the boats, there was a mini brief from the local guides...
Our guide was a Ms Tania, humourous as hell, pretty with olive tanned complexion.
(Too bad I had forgotten to snap a pic of her). The most surprising thing was, she din seem to like the sun much... She was wearing a long-sleeved sports jacket (!!) whenever we disembarked onto a new location and stayed well in the shade whereas the rest of us (the tourists) ran amok on the beach, stripping off the tops and letting the skin drink in the sun.. (the guys within the group did) I merely took off my top when there's not many people around.. Hahaha..
First stop was where the infamous movie, The Beach was filmed, Maya Bay. It was beautiful, not to mention, very crowded..
Law with his top (finally) off
Close-up of us
I hardly can get a good shot of the place without a stranger (or a boat) straying into my background.. *bleah*
We spent a brief 30minutes on the beach, frolicking in the waters and trying to take pictures.

Then we proceed to Loh Samah Bay for snorkelling. Law was enjoying himself whereas I stayed on the boat for a tan...
We made a couple of stops along the way, Pileh Cove and Viking Caves, saw some monkeys, fed them, took pic of them, more crystal clear water, more beautiful scenery...
By this time, I was getting tired of sitting inside the boat... Weather was really hot and I desired a dip in the waters again...
Finally we reached Phi Phi Don Island where there was a gigantic shelter with rows and rows of tables and chairs. That was where our lunch was to be taken, with lotsa others too from various tours. Having no appetite, all I wanted was a Coke... I made Law rushed through his lunch and dragged him to snap more scenery pics.
Then Ms Tania ushered us back to the boat again so that we we can continue the journey to Khai Nai Island where we finally could tan, swim or just nua.. Whahahahah...
Slighly after four, we had return to the main island of Phuket.. Too tired to think of anything else, this time I just wanted food.. Dinner was at Sabai-Sabai, which was much better than Sea Hag...
I'm a fan of green curry chicken now all becoz of Sabai-Sabai *wide grinz*
(no pic coz I was charging the camera's battery in the hotel)
DAY 3
Me and Law relax all the way on the beach! There was a heavy downpour shortly after we settled down on the beach. With no brolly and no additional beach towels, me and Law just sat within our deck chairs and hopped the rain would stop, which it did...
The rest of the afternoon was spent tanning and cooling off in the waters..
DAY 4
Fiery sunset
Kindly see above for Day 3.. Haha..
Honestly that's what we did for the last 2 days...
The beach took up the bulk of our day time, whereas at night we merely strolled around the area, having foot massages...
DAY 5
Time to go back SIN... Law was saying that we should have a longer hol in Phuket instead of 5 days, I rebuked that's what I wanted but prior to booking the trip, he felt 5 days was a bit too much... *men and their fickle minds!*
Law camwhoring at hotel lobby
We walked around one last bit, had another heavenly pancake but with maple syrup and bananas this time round *yummy*
Finally our cabby arrived to pick us to the airport and from there, I came back to reality again..
*bleah*
Really wish I could go back to Phuket again next year! : )
