Me time

In my earlier post were some of the picture at the Bintan getaway, yet I had not shared about how I was during the whole trip.

I mean, I enjoyed the trip very much, there was bestie's nephew who is a tremendous bundle of jovialness and fun. And Bestie was always afraid I would be left out of the family activities that she kept making plans around me. However all I wanted was some time alone, just with the sun and sea... (Me being ungrateful brat, again)

Sometimes, when in the middle of the night, instead of sleeping, I would listen to music (I had a whole room to myself!) and reflected on my past. This 2011 had not really been very kind towards to me, I feel I needed more... I could do more!

At times when the group was walking in pairs and I'm the single one, I wished he was there with me. Then I shook my head to get rid of that thought, it was so absurd thinking of him! We are not supposed to be together and both of us ain't ready yet. Then I caught myself thinking how nice it would be if he was at Bintan with me....

On the last day of the holiday, I sneaked out to the beach whilst everyone was still sleeping soundly. And I had the whole beach to myself! (well for half an hour or so) Guess people always like to sleep late on holidays.. It felt so relaxed, alone and getting the sun. I felt so much at peace with myself... Hehehe

And I came up with a list of smells that I like

1. Freshly baked bread
2. Acqua di Gio Men
3. Apple tarts
4. The earthy smell after a slight drizzle
5. Chloe by Chloe perfume
6. Roses
7. A mixture of cologne and little bit of sweat after a workup at the dancefloor on my man
8. Leather
9. The first smell that hits when one walks into a candy store
10. Burnt rubber (Huh?!)

Easter weekend

I was away over the Easter weekend and had great fun, fun, fun! Whoppeeeee!
Bestie's hubby managed to score a Bintan Lagoon Villa for 4 days and 3 nights thus we all packed our bags and food for the getaway.

Flavour of the week! Yeaps, my song of the moment now.. You know, I just saw Carol off at the airport today. She went back to Japan despite all the radiation scares now. And I'm already missing her. *bleah* I wish she didn't have to go off so fast coz I was real attached to her. She's like an elder sister to me, the impratical one but ever so willingly to have fun with me... After a month long clubbing. pubbing, wasting myself, I gotta admit it's time to sober up now. I am real tired. Had been real stupid, living in the past hoping that things would change. Wishing that my present is not like us, just coz my love can change things (which is really stupid). I thought it through and through... It's really time to let go... Time to put all behind and move on. Seen who are and had been my friends before, realised that people do change. It's time for me to be strong...
