Assalaam Alailum Maldives (Part 2)

Finally I managed to post the second portion of my Maldives trip.
In the previous post, I was saying we stayed in Male during the days Lawrence was required to work at the aiport. However the moment was completed, we moved out to Paradise Island Resort and Spa, a 20min ride from Male via speedboat.

Lawrence's associates had actually managed to get us a beach bungalow that was definitely cheaper than the published rates. Plus the associates claimed that they have friends who can give us some sorta of free dives from the resort's dive center. Paradise was beautiful! Plus the accommdation was really well maintained. There were few ants in the bathroom this time (phew!) and the beach bungalow was much more spacious than Rannalhi's. There were alot of PRCs (O_O) at the isl but however I still feel Paradise was relatively peaceful.

Me and Law spent our first morning there strolling around the isl, checking out the facilities they have. Law actually wanted to dive but the associate's lobang was not at the isl so we dared not ask for the freebie. Then again to make up for the loss, Law's associate arranged to let us have a free massage plus any program from the sea-sports center. There were so many to choose from and super expensive, I was really grateful that Law's associate are such sweet, gracious people. Initially I wanted to try jetski, parasailing, sunset cruise (wahhhhh so greedy) and then there was the dolphin cruise! This one is definitely my must-try!

After confirming our bookings for the dolphin cruise, me and Law decided to tan ourselves chao tar! Muahahahah... The waters around Paradise is pretty clear but there was lots of dead coral and reef on the sandbanks and it kinda hurt a lot when one is going down the waters. That was just a small con but overall Paradise is really highly recommended by me. Heheh.. We also upgraded to a water suite and the moment we moved into the suite, I was no longer seen outside the isl premises except for our meal times. The suite is superb! And I got to have my own pool even though the ocean is a few steps away!

It's luxurious living which I had never thought of splurging on but Law really was sweet, making sure I enjoyed myself thorougly in Paradise. : ) We slept and woke up to hear the ocean waves breaking against the rocks, we could see baby sharks during low tide. We caught our most beautiful sunset at Paradise too. And I feasted on foie gras during our dinner there. Honestly if the world is gonna end in 2012, I'm happy that I had experienced Maldives before I go. : ))
