I hope you guys had enjoyed the pictures of my wedding : P
We did not engage a professional photographer, my brother merely took a few shots here and there. Which I wish there were more pictures instead. Our day was so much fun and yet there was little pictures as keepsakes.
This led me to think, in the event if L and I really decide to hold another customonial wedding, I'm so gonna engage a real photographer and shoot all the fun and glory of the day.
We managed to really stay within our budgeted 3K and that's with the help of our wonderful friends and families (God bless them!) Imagine if we were to engage a pro photographer, we might really be left debt ridden unnecessary.
The lunch was actually sponsored by Mag, L's sister. I'm really thankful to her for picking up the tab whilst everyone was cleaning up the last bits of dessert. She secretly went to the restaurant counter and paid. Instead of chartering a mini bus to Botanic Gardens, our brothers drove everyone and that helped to cut the travelling costs. My bouquet was a present from L's buddies which really touched me. We did not invite any of our friends as we wanted our lunch to be an intimate affair for family only. Yet they went asking around for recommendations for florist and got us that bouquet. My brother sponsored the wine and champagne which we all finished within that 3 hours at the restaurant. We brought 5 bottles of wine and a cham down. Halfway through the meal, L's brother realised we were drinking at a quick pace and went ahead to buy 2 more bottles of reds.
All in all, L and I had a great time and we are husband and wife now!
Life is still kinda honeymoon-y. And hopefully next time I will be able to update with the progress on our new house. : ))
